Shine Your Light - Let All Peoples Praise the Lord

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." – Matthew 5:14-15

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." – Matthew 5:16

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." – Mark 16:15

God’s mission is unstoppable, and you’re part of it! He desires ALL people to turn to Him, accept His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and experience His unfailing love. The world is full of people who have never heard of His grace, kindness, and mercy, and YOU have been chosen to share this incredible news.

Jesus didn’t come to save a select few; He came to save MANY. As ambassadors of His kingdom, we are His hands and feet, His voice in the world. Every day is an opportunity to shine His light—don’t hide it! Jesus said, "A town built on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14). Your light is meant to shine brightly, illuminating the path to God for those around you.

Let this inspire and excite you! Imagine the impact you could have by living as a beacon of hope and love. When people see your kindness, selflessness, and joy, they’ll see Jesus in you. And when they see Jesus, they’ll experience the transforming power of His grace.

But let’s be honest—fear and doubt can creep in. You might think, “What if I’m not good enough? What if I fail?” Let me remind you: God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. He isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for obedience. "The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

So take the first step. Step out in faith. Start that ministry, write that book, organize that outreach. Whatever God is placing on your heart—DO IT! You don’t have to see the whole picture; just trust Him with the first step.

Remember, your life has been transformed by Christ. You’ve been given a second chance, a new life. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Live each day with gratitude and purpose, reflecting the incredible gift of salvation you’ve received.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for choosing me to be Your light in this world. I’m humbled and grateful to be part of Your mission to bring salvation to all people. Help me to live boldly and shine brightly, reflecting Your love, grace, and mercy. Strengthen me to step out in faith, even when I feel afraid or unworthy. Guide my steps and use me for Your glory. Let my life be a testimony of Your transforming power. Thank You for the second chance I have in Christ. I dedicate myself to Your kingdom work today and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." – Matthew 5:16
